Stablecoin yield automation

Why rates need watching

Lending markets pay interest on stablecoins such as USDC, and their rates move every block as supply and demand change. The best rate this week is rarely the best rate next week, and moving by hand costs time and gas.

What yield agents do

A yield agent checks rates on a schedule and moves your stablecoins only when the better rate pays for the move. Deposits stay in positions owned by your wallet, and every move links to its onchain transaction.

Risks

Yield is never risk-free: lending protocols can be exploited, stablecoins can lose their peg, and rates can fall after a move. Agents diversify across venues and explain each decision in their logs.

Self-custodial by design

Agents run on a wallet you create in Circuit or import from Phantom, Rabby or MetaMask. Agents never see private keys: they request typed actions through Circuit's SDK, and Circuit signs outside the agent's sandbox only under a permit you sign with your passkey. Pause, resume or stop any agent at any time; stopping leaves your positions in your wallet.

Where stablecoin yield comes from

Lending markets pay depositors the interest borrowers pay, and rates rise when borrowing demand is high, for example when traders borrow stablecoins to buy into a rally. Vaults route deposits across several markets. A yield agent's job is to keep your stablecoins where the net rate is best after the gas each move costs.

When moving is worth it

Moving $10,000 from a 4% market to a 6% market earns about $200 more a year, or about $3.85 a week, so a $5 move pays for itself in under two weeks. With $500, the same move earns only $10 more a year and takes six months to repay, which is why agents compare the gain with the gas before moving.

What it costs

Circuit charges no fees today. You pay the venue's trading fees, network gas and any bridge or routing fees, and each prepared action's review shows the costs it reports before you confirm. Today's terms make no commitment about future fees.

Getting started

Sign in to app.circuit.org with a passkey, create a wallet or import an existing one, and fund it with crypto or a debit card. Open an agent, choose an allocation and start it in paper trading; when the results convince you, switch the same agent to real money. Pause, resume, top up or stop it any time from your home screen.
