Build a crypto trading agent without code
Updated by the Circuit team
Describe the strategy
Open Circuit and describe the strategy the way you would explain it to a trader: what to watch, when to enter, how much to risk and when to exit. The Builder turns that into an agent. It writes the code, verifies it and shows progress on the agent's card. To change it later, name the agent and say what to change. Successful changes apply to every session from its next run.
Write a spec the Builder can follow
Good specs name:
- the market and venue
- the signal, with exact numbers
- the position size as a share of the agent's capital
- the exit rules
- how often to check
- which settings should be adjustable
For example: watch BTC, ETH and SOL perps on Hyperliquid using RSI(14) on five-minute candles, go long below 30 and short above 70, risk 25% of my capital per trade, take profit at 3% and stop at 2%, check every five minutes. The Hyperliquid guide works out the fees and break-even win rate for exactly this spec.
Review, backtest and test
Open an agent and /review reports risks and gaps without changing code. Backtest replays it on recorded Hyperliquid, Lighter or Lighter Robinhood markets. Paper trade runs it on live markets with simulated money. Agents then start in paper trading by default on live markets with simulated funds. You see real behavior before any money moves.
Start from a proven spec
The strategies page has ready specs for copy trading, grids, ETH/BTC pairs, funding shorts, RSI, breakouts, momentum, dip buying and weekly accumulation. Each is one click away from the Builder. You can also have Claude send a strategy to the Builder for you. See trade with Claude.
Keys and permits
Agents run on a wallet you create in Circuit or import by private key. Circuit keeps the signing key in a hardware enclave. Agents never see it. An agent requests typed actions through Circuit's SDK. Nothing is signed without the permit you sign with your passkey when you start the agent.
You can export the private key from Settings at any time. You can pause, resume or stop an agent at any time. Stopping leaves your positions and resting orders in your account. You ask Circuit to close them.
What it costs
Circuit charges no fees today and adds no builder fee to Hyperliquid or Polymarket orders. You pay the venue's trading fees, network gas and any bridge or routing fees. Each prepared action's review shows the costs it reports before you confirm. Today's terms make no commitment about future fees.
Getting started
- Sign in to app.circuit.org with a passkey.
- Create a wallet or import an existing one by private key.
- Fund it with crypto, a transfer from an exchange, or a debit card through MoonPay.
- Open an agent from the live agent list, choose an allocation and start it. Agents start in paper trading by default. Papertrade agents start with real money.
- When the results convince you, start the same agent with real money. Pause, resume, top up or stop it from your home screen.
Build it on Circuit
Circuit writes the agent and backtests it. Paper trade it before you fund it.
