Papertrade trading agents

What Papertrade is
Papertrade (papertrade.xyz) trades real USDC. Despite the name it has nothing to do with paper trading. It settles synthetic perpetuals on HyperEVM against its own liquidity pool at Hyperliquid's order-book mid. It has no order book, spread, slippage or funding. Every trade is its own isolated position with fixed margin and leverage up to 1000×. Losing closes mint PAPER. Staked PAPER earns USDC rewards. Crypto paper trading covers simulated trading with no real money.
What Papertrade agents do
Agents open hedged long and short pairs, close them at their targets, stake the PAPER they earn and claim rewards on a schedule. Circuit funds Papertrade from dollars on any supported network in one swap, registers the trading session key for your wallet and renews it before it expires. An agent can also watch any wallet's Papertrade positions. That is how copy trading agents follow Papertrade traders.
How hedged pairs earn PAPER
A hedged pair opens an equal long and short on the same asset. As the price moves one leg gains and the other loses. When either reaches the target move both close. The losing leg pays only its loss and mints PAPER. The winning leg keeps its gain after Papertrade's price impact and fee. The agent stakes the PAPER it earns for USDC rewards.
Know the risks
- Each position is isolated. A liquidation forfeits that position's whole margin and nothing more.
- Winning closes pay after Papertrade's price impact and fee.
- Profit Papertrade cannot cover right away waits in a payout queue.
- Every Circuit session shares Papertrade's limits. Circuit refuses an agent's 13th Papertrade action within a minute.
Papertrade is one venue among several. Hyperliquid trading agents covers order-book perps with funding.
Keys and permits
Agents run on a wallet you create in Circuit or import by private key. Circuit keeps the signing key in a hardware enclave. Agents never see it. An agent requests typed actions through Circuit's SDK. Nothing is signed without the permit you sign with your passkey when you start the agent.
You can export the private key from Settings at any time. You can pause, resume or stop an agent at any time. Stopping leaves your positions and resting orders in your account. You ask Circuit to close them.
What it costs
Circuit charges no fees today and adds no builder fee to Hyperliquid or Polymarket orders. You pay the venue's trading fees, network gas and any bridge or routing fees. Each prepared action's review shows the costs it reports before you confirm. Today's terms make no commitment about future fees.
